How Many Types Of Health Are There?

There are six different types of Health includes Physical health, Mental health, Emotional health, Social health, Environmental health, and Spiritual health.

1. Physical Health

Physical health is defined as the condition of your body, taking into consideration everything from the absence of disease to fitness level. Physical health is critical for overall well-being, and can be affected by: Lifestyle: diet, level of physical activity, and behaviour

2. Mental Health

Mental health is the level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness. It is the state of someone who is "functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioral adjustment".

3. Social Health

Social health can be defined as our ability to interact and form meaningful relationships with others. It also relates to how comfortably we can adapt in social situations. Social relationships have an impact on our mental health, physical health and mortality risk.

4. Emotional Health

Emotional health is a person's ability to accept and manage feelings through challenge and change. Someone who is emotionally healthy can allow their emotions to be digestible

5. Spiritual Health

Spiritual health includes a purposeful life, transcendence and actualization of different dimensions and capacities of human beings. Spiritual health creates a balance between physical, psychological and social aspects of human life.

6. Environmental Health

Environmental Health is the field of science that studies how the environment influences human health and disease. “Environment,” in this context, means things in the natural environment like air, water, and soil, and also all the physical, chemical, biological, and social features of our surroundings.
